Tips for Updating Your Porch for Fall

When it comes to designing, I love it all. Designing weddings, homes, and even porches. And I really love summer, but it goes by so fast. So when fall comes around I am never quite ready to give up on my outdoor spaces. So I put together some tips for updating your porch for fall. They are being featured on one of my favorite blogs: Style Me Pretty Living! Click HERE to see the feature.

And now for the tips. Thanks Connie for the lovely photos.

Add a wreath! Nothing says fall like a lovely welcoming wreath on your door. The options are so endless here. I especially love this one from The Ruffly Rose.

Install a porch Swing. Nothing like enjoying those cool nights while sipping on some warm apple cider. And add some privacy. We chose some sheer drapes for the softness, but you could do a plant trellis, privacy screen, or shrubs.

Update your blooms. Replace faded summer blooms with colorful fall ones. We choose Mums because they are easy and colorful.

Add a layer of comfort. Add a throw and a book and get cozy over morning coffee.

Hope you enjoyed these tips and that you are having a wonderful fall!
