While Annie and Cody wanted to get married in the Rocky Mountains they also wanted to incorporate bits of New Orleans into the wedding since the couple lived there together. What transpired was a mountain chic celebration with Southern details, like a second-line exit from their ceremony and barbecued shrimp appetizers, at the Red Sky Ranch in Wolcott, Colorado. The incredibly creative and talented bride even created her own invitation suite and the results are astounding and bring life to the desert inspired mountain wedding! See more details and photos here on Brides.com where the wedding is now featured!

Alex & Greg’s wedding is being featured in stunning Spring 2014 issue of Aisle Style Magazine! Their wedding was extra special to me because I work with Alex a lot at weddings. Alex does the most amazing hair for weddings and even did my own wedding hair. So it meant a lot when she asked me to help plan her wedding.
Aisle Style is a semi annual publication put out by Reign Magazine, a favorite of mine is a Denver magazine and blog that focuses on fashion, beauty, dining, travel, shopping, kids, culture and more. I absolutely love it. Click here to see the online version of Aisle Style.
Here is a few more of my favorite photos from their big day! Photos by the talented Laura Murray Photography.

I am tickled pink to share a certain Valentine’s Day spread on page 92 of Rue Magazine! Valentine’s Day isn’t just for couples dining by flickering candlelight. This year, why not invite a few friends over for a sweethearts’ potluck? Let this party we designed serve as your inspiration. Go ahead head on over and let me know what you think for yourself.
A HUGE thanks to the Rue team for having us in this issue – it’s really such an honor!

Beyond excited to share this shoot we designed being featured on Reverie Magazine!! It is so different than any of our previous designs and we are so proud! The inspiration for this shoot was texture..subtle yet romantic and elegant.
We didn’t want to overwhelm the look with color, so we went with a more subtle palette of whites, creams, blush pinks and peaches. Our model wore a stunning silk chiffon gown, appropriately named Grace, by Australian designer Anna Campbell, which features a delicately beaded sleeve and was a perfect contrast to the other textures in the shoot.
From Bare Root Flora “Flowers were a integral piece of the layered look we wanted. We adore the velvety softness and lines of the protea, the ruffles of the ranunculus and the parrot tulips, the depth of the andromeda, the lush delicate nature of the lilac and the open, sweet nature of the anemone, not to mention the contrast of its gorgeous navy eye against all the whites and blush pinks. The perfect finishing touch was the porcelain magnolia blooms–something we’d never used in design before. We loved how the centerpiece looked sitting on the incredible linen from La Tavola–although subtle in color, its layered rosette and circle patterns added so much to the tablescape.”
and making it debut..our texture fabric backdrop. Imagine this behind your cake or guestbook table!
Hope you enjoyed this shoot as much as we did! A big thanks to everyone involved:

Just a quick little post to share some exciting news! Mile High Bride featured Jimmer & Caitlin’s secret styled proposal. This was something I absolutely loved being a part of. It was unlike anything else and I could not be happier for this couple. Check out the proposal HERE. It is bound to make your heart sigh!
