Fall Wedding Inspiration

So many beautiful bridal inspiration shoots are built around the bride of course, which we love. But so many men out there are just as stylish and bespoke as the lovely ladies in their lives, so we wanted to highlight a couple who both love fashion and style, and who wanted to see that reflected throughout the aesthetics of their wedding day. Photographer Cassidy Brook was looking to highlight color with a stylish green groom’s suit, which was where our design ideas began to take shape. We wanted an organic, modern look to the shoot and a warm and textural fall feel that we thought would not only inspire stylish couples but feel relatable and attainable. Adding in tones and shades of marsala and deep fuchsia gave us just the palette we were wanting–fresh and fallish, yet sophisticated.

We outfitted our real couple in a stylish emerald green suit by ASOS and a stunning halter gown by Willowby paired with a flowy skirt from WToo and stunning ring by Susie Saltzman. It’s a tossup whose updo we loved more–his stylish manbun or her beautiful braided look by KIS Hair and Makeup Design! We outfitted their bridesmaid in a gorgeous deep fuchsia halter gown by BHLDN. We kept flowers organic, romantic and textural and we LOVE how the color palette married with the incredible fall colors of the landscape.

The Manor House recently added a new ballroom and we felt like it perfectly married the modern yet still organic feel we were going for. The table set in front of the fireplace was a stylish focal point for the shoot. Velvet is a favorite for fall weddings and we loved the unusual shade of this Rose Velvet Linen from La Tavola–a neutral but with more depth. We set the table with modern gold candelabra and stylish brass votives, which were a lovely tie-in to the gold rimmed plate and flatware from Crate and Barrel. A concrete vessel filled with lush and textural dahlia, garden roses, pieris buds, grapes, crabapples, blackberries and mint gave the table an organic yet elegant vibe. Stationery from Julie Ha Calligraphy completed the look.

Organic Mountain Wedding Inspiration

We are so excited to see this elegant and organic mountain wedding inspiration shoot being featured on Magnolia Rouge! The Rocky Mountains never disappoint for a backdrop, but they are especially spectacular in late September, when the aspens become resplendent in shades of gold, amber, orange and deep red. Keeping the design simple, warm and welcoming meant it didn’t distract from the natural beauty of the mountains. A color palette of treys, ambers, peaches, and burgundy complemented the landscape and the season.

We kept the table design very clean and simple to highlight two gorgeous focal points, a one-of-a-kind hand-carved taper holder and the gorgeous arch under which the table sat. The table was set with simple, classic plates from Handmade Studio on gorgeous table linen from La Tavola and a handmade runner. Gorgeous matte flatware from were a perfect compliment to the vintage gunmetal marais chairs from Electric Hive. We wanted the clean, modern feel of the table to be offset by the wild, textural structure above it. The arch was bedecked with lush smilax, crabapple branches, seeded hydrangea, liquid amber, broom corn and amaranthus. We couldn’t resist tucking in a few perfect black beauty roses as a finishing touch. For the dress we wanted something minimalistic but beautiful. The Charmeuse Watters tank top with raw edges paired with a flowy pleated skirt by Grace from Anna Be was the perfect fit.

Vivid & Colorful Wedding at Crooked Willow

Katie & Wes’ fun and colorful wedding was such a joy to be a part of! We LOVED this day and this couple! This gorgeous wedding is now featured on Green Wedding Shoes! Click here to see more of it!

The couple chose to seat their 75 guests at two long farm tables, which were a real focal point for the evening. The wooden tables were set with vintage china, delicate grey runners, and a gorgeous mix of florals in wood boxes, delicate brown bottles, and beautiful smoky glass and stone urns filled with textural and lush blooms in a deep and saturated color palette. Watercolor painted place cards, loose artichokes and beautiful votives finished off the tables perfectly. Overhead, an eclectic mix of Edison bulbs were hung to give the tables a gorgeous glow.

Some of our other favorite details included a whiskey tasting, Free People bridesmaid dresses, and custom made cowgirl boots for the bride! This wedding is so much FUN. We hope you love it as much as we do!

Amy & Will’s Bohemian Crooked Willow Wedding

If you love flowers and sweet, pastel hues, today’s Colorado farm wedding, captured by Laura Murray Photography will win you over big time! Amy and Will wanted their wedding to be a laid-back and fun experience for their friends and family…and they wanted it to reflect their affinity towards all things bohemian, whimsical and romantic. We worked with them to bring their aesthetic and ideas to life and chose a beautiful (and enviable) pastel color palette of peaches, pinks, creams, dusty blues, and sage greens that we know you’re going to love!

Probably the most stand-out detail is the floral design by Bare Root Flora. Dreamy blooms were practically dripping from every vignette, and even Amy was decked out in posies! We love her wild + gorgeous bouquet and that she paired her lovely lace Yolan Cris dress with a peach + ivory flower crown.

The cocktail hour and reception room were no different from the ceremony in regard to the abundance of lush florals found in every direction. Cocktail tables were adorned with the bridesmaids bouquets and even the escort card display (another fun focal point of hanging ombré paper cranes) and the teepee were embellished with greenery to add a more organic feel to the cocktail hour. Inside the reception room, the head table was flooded with beautiful centerpieces in wood boxes to complement the wood table. The surrounding rounds were topped with an assortment of lovely centerpieces to add more texture and variety to the tables. Table numbers and other paper goods were exquisitely hand drawn with flowers to match the florals used throughout the wedding by the ever talented Lana’s Shop.
