Summer Internship

We’re looking for Summer Interns! We are excited to be adding up to 3 interns to our team this summer!

Do weddings make you swoon? Are you curious about learning the ins and outs of the wedding day and the planning that goes into it before?  Are you interested in the inner-workings of a local small business? This internship is a great opportunity to learn more about design, as well as event planning and production. Internship Curriculum consists of:

On-site management, directly communicating with vendors and clients, and lots of insight into the Colorado event planning industry! Learning the logistics of wedding planning: timelines, rehearsals, communicating with couples via email, consultations, and phone calls. Learning the design process (color boards, floral inspiration, blog posts on design trends, creating inspiration boards)

High standard of professionalism when communicating with clients, vendors, and our couples. Prioritization and organization. We have learned that the greatest advantage in wedding and event planning is having strong organizational skills. Even the greatest of tasks can be completed through strategic organization. The effectiveness of a team. Whether that be in a supporting role or a leading role, the most important role is one that benefits the team as a whole.

Details:

This will be a 2-3month commitment from June-August (depending on school schedule) and applicants MUST be available most weekends. This is an unpaid internship and must be recognized by the interns college instruction as academic credit towards his/her chosen degree. 20+ hours a week.
