Abby & Tommy’s Stylish Fall Wedding

This delightful and gorgeous wedding featured a bright and bold color palette using a colorful red, blush, gold, and ivory as the main colors. The colors were able to pop out against the blank canvas that is Blanc while seamlessly harmonizing with the greenery around the venue to create an organic yet vibrant feel. The couple decided they wanted to carry over their initials from their invitations to the wedding itself. They used marquee lights of their initials and an ampersand. The marquee lights created a unique and modern backdrop to their ceremony, as the couple stood in front of the lights for their special moment. On their way down the aisle the handsome and might we say adorable ring bearers carried “hip hip” and “hooray” flags. Though only a small detail, the bride loved this idea so much she chose to have the flags recreated as mini drink stirrers so guests could enjoy them with their beverages. Abby and Tommy’s ceremony was incredibly heartwarming as both of their dads officiated it. Tommy’s dad began so that Abby’s dad could walk his daughter down the aisle and then take a minute to soak it all in before concluding the ceremony. It was so personal and so lovely, everyone was smiling from ear to ear the entire time. Showing off their bright and fun personalities, when the ceremony finished, instead of turning around and walking down the aisle, they made their way back in style… by dancing down the aisle. To carry on the theme of the ampersand, Tommy and Abby used handmade ampersand magnets to hold guests’ watercolor place cards. These magnets then doubled as the couple’s favors. The reception room was filled with beautiful wood tables which were adorned with lovely wild, loose, textural arrangements to keep the feeling more organic. There was also seasonal fruit to complete the look which tied in the overall farm to table ambiance the couple wished to design. Seasonal blooms like dahlias were brought in to correspond with the beginning of the fall season! The florist also used Vining greens in order to “connect” the tables and make the room feel more integrated and natural.  They also had ice cream sandwiches served on an adorable pink bike.
